Goals for Quarter 2 of 2025: Update 1

,

I can honestly say April was not my month, or March, or February and January wasn’t that great either. But hey, it is May now so maybe things will be a bit better. I thought it might be fun to do monthly updates with my goals. So here is how it is going after the first month.

So by the end of quarter 2 I would like to…

Life

  • Have read 50 books
    • Books so far: 23 books (from January, not just this month!)
  • Run 5 km
    • I went to the gym once, so not going great.
  • 300 000 steps in 30 days
    • My April steps were around 168 000 which is the lowest monthly steps amount this year! So this is also not going so great.
  • Keep on with my weekly journal
  • Finish writing my novel
  • Finish unit 40 (in section 2) in Duolingo Swedish
    • Currently on unit 29 (section 2).
  • Wake up at 5am for 30 days
  • Write a short story
  • Finish the 2021/2022/2023/2024 family book
  • Safe 500 000 ISK

Home

  • Declutter
    • Did a decluttering challenge in April and decluttered several items. But I want to continue a bit more.
  • Plant potatoes in the box
  • Plant things in the other vegetable garden
  • Work on having an alpine herb garden

School

  • Finish this semester
  • Apply to get some of my older classes credited

Internet things

  • 400 Instagram subscribers
  • 50 YouTube subscribers
  • 10 000 views on this blog
    • Super close!
  • FAM: 200 Instagram subscribers
  • Have a recipe from FAM published somewhere else

Crafts

  • Finish the 2023 yarns.
  • Publish my first knitting pattern
  • Sew a skirt
    • I bought myself a new sewing machine! And have started on the skirt!
  • Finish the last Karólína
    • Picked it up again and have been working on it, about 1/3 done I think.
  • Start on a new cross stitching project
  • Make paper
  • Start on a 2021 temperature blanket

Until next time.
