Monthly Goals: January 2024

,

Because I work a lot with things that happen in the future I have been writing 2024 on documents for the majority of last year. So I am happy that the calendar year has caught up with what is in my head, but at the same time I am already seeing 2025 at work!

The days are still really short and dark here in Iceland and in Akureyri we are just drowning in snow so I am not really interested in being outside. I am not a big fan of snow, or the cold. The darkness is fine, but the snow makes me want to stay inside.

What is my main focus for January

My main focus for this month is FAM. FAM stands for fullt af mat, which means a lot of food and is a idea that I have been developing for a long time. When my daughter was born she was diagnosed with severe food allergies and in one phone call with our paediatrician she said (in Icelandic) that there wasn’t a lot of food left that my daughter could eat (she said it in a nice way) and I thought to my self that I was going to prove everyone wrong on that!

What are my top 3 goals for January connected to my main focus
  • Build the FAM website
  • Publish 3 recipes
What 101 things in 1001 days will I be working on
  • Make KA a really good birthday cake
  • Journal 33 times
  • Write 101 days in a gratitude journal

And that’s it! How are you feeling about January?
