I am mainly focusing on finishing the oldest yarn in the stash (everything above September 2023) before October 2025! But I am feeling quite motivated! I started on 2 projects just from the stash in February and I am ready to finish some more yarn!

I have set myself a 2025 knitting goal and that is to knit 12 different items / 12 different yarns / 12 different designers / 12 different colors. Which could be that I will just knit 12 things.

My January goal was not to cast-on anything new, my goal for February was to finish the all the yarn that was under 20 gr, which I didn’t accomplish but I did make a dent! The goal for March will be to finish 400 gr of my 2023 yarn.

None of the projects I am working on will add to the yarn stash when they are finished (with the exception for the socks but I won’t finish them in March). I want to use up 400 gr of my 2023 yarn in March! Which is a lofty goal but I think I might be able to do it, if I finish my Lopi Laptopcase I will use up more of the lopi, and then I just need to cast on a project with the handdyed sockyarn and finish those bits up. Maybe I will start on something with the Sandnes yarn as well. I will think of something!

I am super happy that I finished some yarn, I finished the Scheepjes Stone Washed yarn, I had so little of it left so I was excited that I could use it up. I finished some Holst Titicaca, the black kambgarn and the Noro Kureyon. I am working on several of the Peruvian colours! There are several yarns that were under 20 gr that I didn’t manage to finish, which is fine. I knew it was a stretch trying to finish these random bits of yarn, especially since Holst Titicaca is a very light yarn for how long it is. In total I actually used up 364 gr of yarn in February!

I did buy some yarn when I was in Switzerland, I knew I wanted to buy some and I bought Swiss Lama yarn for another hat for KA, a toddler can never own to many hats!

I am thinking about starting on a pair of leftover yarn socks and use what I have of the hand dyed sock yarn. I am thinking about making a pair that are quite high up my legs. I think I will do two at a time, starting from the toe and just knitting until I have no more yarn.

Until next time!
