101 things in 1001 days: Health/self-care

I am continuing going through my 101 things in 1001 days list and how I am doing. Here you can see other posts that I have written about the 101 list.

I am quite happy with how the health and self-care section of my 101 things in 1001 days is going. I have finished 10 out of 17 and I do think I can finish the 7 that I have left before October 2025.

  1. 140 workouts
    • Working on it. I have done 19 workouts. I think I can finish this, I need to work out 2 times a week until I finish this challenge and that isn’t something I know I am not capable of doing.
  2. 300’000 steps in 30 days
    • I am getting there, I went from around 130’000 steps per month and now I am around 240’000 steps so I think this is just slowly happening. It hasn’t helped that when I start walking 10000 steps a day I either get sick or there are storms that last several days.
  3. Capsule wardrobe
    • Working on it. I think this will be finished in autumn.
  4. Feel pretty again
  5. Finish my anxiety course
  6. Decide on what’s the next step in having a good mental health
  7. Get a haircut
  8. Get a massage
  9. Get a pap smear
  10. Get rid of my skintags
  11. Grow my hair out
  12. No night snacking for 30 days
  13. No soda for 30 days
  14. Set a lasik appointment and get a lasik/or not get lasik
    • I did get an appointment, that I had to cancel, so I just need to get another appointment. They are only in Reykjavík and on Saturdays. So I need to fly to get the appointment and would probably have to stay overnight.
  15. Wake up every morning at 5am for 30 days
    • I have tried to do this several time. I always fail on day 1.
  16. Get 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep for 101 nights
  17. Get a facial
    • I have chosen the place, I just need to book and go.

As I mentioned before I am really happy with how these goals are going. I was sure I would never get 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep ever.
