WIP Wednesday #9

,

I didn’t follow my one item per day knitting schedule since I went to Reykjavik for several days and didn’t have time to knit and only took with me one project. But I still worked on all of the projects and did cast-on one new project since my last WIP post, but no bind-offs.

Sunshine on the Path Shawl

I’ve finished the third row of roses, I think it total there are 14 rows of roses, this shawl is going to be gigantic.

Yarn: Kaos Chunky Andean Wool – MAGNIFICENT

December blanket

Started on the 18th colour out of 24 colours. I have been knitting this for so long, I even wrote about it in my first WIP post!

Yarn: Holst Supersoft and Holst Titicaca

Ibsen Sweater

I think I am almost finished with the straight body. I need to find the pattern, it is somewhere and I can’t remember what the next step was!

Yarn: Holst Supersoft in Elderberry and Holst Titicaca in Purple Rose!

Lopi Laptopcase

I think my task of this next week is to organize the lopi I have. I can’t find the next colour in the pattern and I don’t know if it is because I finished it or misplaced it. I also need to calculate how much yarn I am using for each colour so I can plan how I will organize the colours. I think I am about 1/3 done, maybe a bit more.

Yarn: random lopi

Leftover yarn hat (for KA)

Folded the brim so that it is double and now I am at the more boring part. This hat is why I never do a gauge test, I did one and the hat is too big. Which always happens! I am not going to frog it, it will fit one day.

Yarn: Various Holst Supersoft and Host Titicaca.

Star of the Snow socks

So I really had to knit them again after they were washed wrong. Here is the previous FO Friday. I decided on a totally different colour combo and I quite like it, the green leaves are a mix of handdyed sock yarn and holst titicaca and all of the other colours are handdyed sock yarn.

Yarn: various handdyed sock yarn and Holst Titicaca

I haven’t bought the yarn for the Moby sweaters but I need to get going to finish one in May!
