FO Friday: Cup of Hot Cocoa Socks

I love knitting socks and I really want to mainly have knitted socks in my life, but I’m not a quick sock knitter. I love knitting them so I always take my time to knit them.

I used this pattern: Ravelry: Cup of Hot Cocoa socks pattern by Stone Knits

I did start these on the 5th of December, I wasn’t in a rush, and I had to redo the pattern once on the first sock because it didn’t fit (I always have to use a bigger size of needles).

I used some handdyed sockyarn for the base, and a blend of holst super soft, Filcolana Arwette and some handdyed sockyarn for the colourwork.

I did do the heel wrong and figured it out when I had started on the second sock so I just decided to do the heel wrong on the other sock as well.

I am slowly working on knitting socks from all the handdyed sockyarn that I have in my stash. I want to knit the star of the snow socks again and some more socks! But I don’t think I’ll knit more than maybe 3 pairs this year!

Any good sock patterns that I should check out?

  1. These are so cute! I’ve started my first pair of socks (and I keep putting them down to work on other things) so I’m afraid I have no recommendations, but look forward to seeing everything you make on your quest!
