December I knitted!

New Cast-ons December:

Since I was more focusing on finishing things in December I only started on two new projects!

• Crown for KA
• Cup of hot cocoa socks from Stone Knits

Cast-off December:

• Test knit dress for KA – it was basically done in November but I just needed to finish it.
• Crown for KA – super quick knit.

The WIPs:

• December blanket – worked on it! Finished one more colour.
• Ibsen Sweater – working on it.
• Test knit Kaos – working on it! On sleeve island!
• Sunshine on the Path Shawl – thinking about frogging it and using some other yarn. I think I know what yarn I want to use but I would need to buy it!
• Mini Magic Toadstool socks – working on them!

I finished 12 knitting projects in 2023! Super happy with that, and they are all in use! I don’t know how many I will finish in 2024 but I have a couple of things on my things I want to knit list! I want to make another hat for KA, I want to make myself a shawl, couple of sweaters, more socks!

I also want to knit something out of the lopi and I have a pattern that I want to publish that uses up the leftover lopi!

For January I want to work on having just like 3-4 WIPs. I want to work more on the December Blanket I am I think about half way done and it would be nice to see some progress.

I also need to knit a spring hat for KA, we live in Iceland so I will also need to knit a summer hat for her. Maybe also some summer gloves. Again, Iceland it is always a knitted hat season.

As I stare at my yarn I think mixing together the pink Pernilla with the light purple Holst Tides might be cute together. The Blue Sandnes Duo and the Pernilla also are the same size so I can make something fun out of those! See! It is very important to look at your stash regularly and think about it! I am seeing a pink/blue/purple striped sweater for KA in the near future! A summer sweater, since it is still cold here in the summer.
