Month in Review: December 2023

β€”

December was such an amazing month! I celebrated my birthday and enjoyed just the entire month and what it had to offer! I finished the first semester in my new degree and am very happy with what I have accomplished. We celebrated Christmas at home and it was all just very very nice, cosy and happy!

What was my main focus for December

Write – and I did write, and thought a lot about writing and what I want to write and the best ways for me to write. I enjoyed not feeling guilty about not doing other things as I was writing.

What were my top 3 goals for December
  • Set a sustainable writing routine – yes, I know how I can find time now to write.
  • Write 5000 words- not quite but happy with what I have accomplished.
  • Work on detailed plotting – yes!
What from the 101 things in 1001 days I wanted to work on
  • Write 101 days in a gratitude journal – I strangely didn’t do this, no idea why!
  • Make myself a really good birthday cake. – I made myself four!! Birthday cakes! And bought one to take to work and was given one at work! So in total I had six birthday cakes!! I did say that it was a good month!
  • Write a novel – working on it!

And that is it! How was your December?
