….. and I have a couple of things I need to talk about!

Firstly, finishing Duolingo has absolutely nothing to do with language skills and everything to do with pushing through the repetition.

I don’t feel like my German has gotten better at all. I didn’t get more complicated text the further I got or more words. I feel like it might be great to learn the first words and get a feeling for the language but at a certain point there wasn’t anything new and you are simply repeating the same sentence over and over again.

And secondly, I don’t really know how I can continue with my German studies. I could take a couple of courses at University of Iceland, I could try to read more in German, try to see if there is anything I could watch in German.

But I finisher German on Duolingo! Next I’ll finish Swedish!
