For the rest of the year I want to focus a bit more of using up the yarn that I have instead of always buying more yarn for new projects. I am not a fan of owing things that I don’t use and yarn is no exception!

I am only weighing the yarn that is not still being used in a project, and I have several projects going on so these numbers will rise with every cast off and of course they will also get smaller with every cast off!

Lopi – various colours	320 gr	Scarf, maybe a hat for me.
Hand dyed sock yarn	359 gr	I like knitting sweaters for KA in this yarn. So I might just knit her a sweater. I also want to knit some more socks so some of it will go into that.
Holst: Coast green + blue	98 gr	These are leftovers from a shawl that I made that I LOVE wearing. So I need to make something cosy with the rest of it.
Holst super soft – various colours	37 gr	I’m thinking a multi coloured shawl? Maybe a sweater for KA. These are leftovers from a blanket I am knitting so there will be more as soon as I finish each colour in the blanket.
Holst Titicaca	29 gr	I might just use this as an extra thread in a project.
Holst Tides	17 gr	I am using this for KA temperature blanket, so I know there will be more of this yarn one day!
Scheepjes – Stone Washed – yellow	57 gr	Thinking about making the sweater I used this yarn for a bit longer.
Pernilla – Filcolana – pink	63 gr	Leftovers from a sweater I knitting for KA

Couple of rules for me:

• Don’t buy yarn unless you need it to finish a project.
  • If there is something I want to knit and I can see that I need extra yarn or a extra thread I will buy it instead of not knitting something.
• Finish – finish – finish!
  • I have several projects that I just need to finish, or decide that I won’t finish them and frog!
• Use the things I finish knitting and be proud!

Now I just need to start knitting!
