Even though I only completed four of my goals for last year I don’t look at it as a failure! Many of my goals were almost completed and I had so much fun working on them.
I really enjoyed setting myself these goals and it is something I see myself doing again (spoiler, I am already doing it again).
The goals I set myself were things that I am bad at doing, such as finishing knitted items, or things I wanted to be better at, sending postcards, baking, growing things. So even though some might look at this as failure I look at this as growth.

Nineteen books read (22/19)
Eighteen postcard sent. (3/18)
Seventeen crafted items sold. (0/17)
Sixteen different types of edible plants grown. (5/16)
Fifteen items embroidered. (0/15)
Fourteen make up (or nail polish) items used up. (3/14)
Thirteen hikes. (6/13)
Twelve socks knitted (6/12)
Eleven different breads baked (9/11)
Ten things that are no longer plastic. (6/10)
Nine (or fewer) plastic bottles used. (9/9)
Eight times out to pick trash. (8/8)
Seven articles published. (0/7)
Six items of clothing made. (3/6)
Five kilometres running without stopping. (0/5)
Four months of expenses saved. (4/4)
Three camping trips. (0/3)
Two overseas trips. (1/2)
I am going to count the trip we went to Egilstaðir as a trip. We decided in 2019 that we wouldn’t travel abroad for environmental reasons.
One recipe book cooked. (8/86)
As I mentioned, I am setting myself another one of these goal list. My goal list is not about failure or success, it is about growth.
