I think it is obvious now that I am in a slump and have been for some time. At the end of June I realized that the slump was pretty bad and that I needed to do something about it. I have some ideas of what I want to be doing with my life and such but it is hard to get motivated to actually do something!
June was still great, we threw our graduation party! It was fun having our close families meet for the first time and getting to spend some time together.
I also got a Kitchen Aid and have not stopped using it since I got it! Bread, cakes, chopping vegetables. All is happening now with the Kitchen Aid. Couldn’t be happier. I have wanted one my entire life and it is surreal actually owning one!

Nineteen books read (16/19)
I read two books this month and they both were horrible! I also stopped reading another book because it was bad. Just a summer of bad books!
Blóðengill – Óskar Guðmundsson (1/5)
Gullbúrið (The Golden Cage) – Camilla Läckberg (0/5)
Sixteen different types of edible plants grown. (4/16)
I harvested from three more plants I am growing in June. It is so nice being able to quickly harvest from the garden. Absolutely love it!
I harvested chives, basil and salad.
Thirteen hikes. (3/13)
Whilst we did go on a lot of smaller hikes this month only two were proper hikes (either over 5km in length or up on a mountain).
The two hikes that were proper hikes were when we hiked through Paradísardalur and when we hiked up to Einbúi.

Nine (or fewer) plastic bottles used. (6/9)
So, we threw a graduation party this month and I bought 4 soda bottles. Otherwise I am doing pretty good at never drinking anything out of plastic bottles.
One recipe book cooked. (9/86)
I feel like most of the recipes in the book basically taste the same. It is just the same thing over and over again.
Smashed Potatoes

I think that basically sums up June! July will hopefully be something else, as I am working on getting out of the slump.
Until next time.
