May went so quickly! I don’t know it if was because I was working a lot or what is going on! Looking back on the month I seriously don’t think I did anything. Which is not true, family was in town, master’s thesis were defended (not mine) and a lot of things happened! May had some great weather, which was a nice things since May 2018 was very rainy.
I think one of the reason why I felt May was such a dud was that for the first time in SUCH A LONG TIME I didn’t have any crazy deadlines, or finals or anything. Just a regular May!
I haven’t posted much, mainly because I want to always post on Wednesdays, and then I am working Friday to Tuesday and then on Wednesdays I am exhausted and haven’t had time to write anything. Then I think that oh well, next Wednesday I will have a post up and the same story happens again and again. So now it is Thursday and I am going to post this!
I think my work schedule will change in July and August (and just life in general) so I will just have to go with the flow!

Nineteen books read (14/19)

The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle – Stuart Turton
The Perfect Girlfriend – Karen Hamilton
Sixteen different types of edible plants grown. (1/16)
I harvested twice from my parsley plant in May! I also wrote about the other plants I am growing.

Eleven different breads baked (5/11)
I baked some garlic knots (and used my parsley) and they were amazing!

Ten things that are no longer plastic. (2/10)
I made tortillas again, so I have stopped buying the tortillas that are covered in plastic. So I am counting it as a plastic item I am no longer buying!
Nine (or fewer) plastic bottles used. (1/9)
First plastic bottle of the year!
One recipe book cooked. (8/86)
I finally started using the recipe book again and made two things. At the moment I seriously doubt that I will finish cooking through the book. I am also not really liking all of the recipes, for couple of reasons. One reason being that there are so many ingredients that I just cannot find here in Iceland.
