What happened to April!? I feel like it went by too quickly, I did not get anything done.
I am still getting used to my work, there is a lot of things I am learning and standing on my feet for eight hours a day takes it toll. But I am quite happy with my job. In March and April I have basically been taking every shift that I could. But from now on I want to focus on other things as well, not just work, work, work.

During Easter we went to Akureyri and had wonderful time. The weather was great and I really got to relax to the max. It was amazing. We did go for a day trip and drove around Mývatn and hiked. Just being in Akureyri makes me happy, there is just so much less stress than in Reykjavík, people walk slower, drive slower and it is amazing.
I got a haircut when I was in Akureyri and cut my almost hip length hair to shoulder length. It was fantastic and I am so happy I did it. I was getting quite annoyed with my hair!

On the blogside of life, I have now been writing month in review posts for an entire year! I enjoyed going back and reading the first one. Especially, since my life is quite different now! Also, on that side, I only posted two posts in April. I had planned several but things just didn’t work as I had planned.
19 in 2019 Update
Eighteen postcard sent. (4/18)
One more postcard sent!
Thirteen hikes. (1/13)
One hike done! I will write post about it in May, we drove around Mývatn and did several smaller hikes which I am counting as a one big hike.
Twelve socks knitted (2/12)
I re-knitted a pair of socks that were quite damaged and started on a second pair that was also quite damaged.
Another month with not a lot accomplished with my goals. But there are things happening now that I might be able to tick off my list at the end of May, things just take time!
