Knitted: Double Knitted Headband/Ear Warmer with a Twist.

It has been a year since I wrote the last Knitted post! I have been knitting, I am basically finished with my Astrid sweater and I knitted a laptop cosy for a friend.

I wanted to learn some new knitting technique so I decided to try double knitting. Let me tell you, double knitting is AMAZING. I think I might solely double knit from now on!

For me, this knitting project was quite a win. Finishing something is always a win for me, I can always find something wrong with what I am knitting and then I simply just don’t finish it.

There are several things I am not super happy about the headband. For example, I don’t think the edges are nice enough and the same goes for the seam on the pink side. Usually, things like these make me not finish the items that I knit. So I am quite happy that not only did I finish it I am also wearing it.

As you might have noticed based on my last post or even just on my Instagram it has been quite cold and snowy in Reykjavik so the headband has been used! Because it is double knitted it is really warm and cosy. Just amazing.

I am still not sure if this counts as one of the six items of clothing that I am planning on doing this year.

But yes, stay warm!
