It has been snowing here in Reykjavík. At first I wanted to write about how rarely it is that we get so much snow here, but as I was looking over my Instagram I realised I was wrong.

The thing is when I usually think about winters in Reykjavík I think about this.

Somehow the foggy and rainy weather is what I always remember. Which isn’t bad, I don’t hate the fog and rain. But I somehow always forget that we do get snow frequently and I have proof!

And then this weekend, we got some snow again, and it is glorious!

Luckily it isn’t as cold as in Helsinki! So it is nice being able to enjoy the beautiful weather.
