Month in Review: November

Because I have been visiting so many museums here in Helsinki recently most of my posts in November were about museums! A good blogger would have spaced those better but I am just writing about what I am doing! I still have some more museum posts left!

I handed in a big part of my thesis in November and then simply just set it aside. Which was not a good idea. However, November had just so many deadlines, I was also finishing a final presentation and studying for a final exam and handing in assignments. I definitely will need to focus on it a lot more in December since I want to hand it in in January.

November was great. Árni came and stayed in Helsinki for over a week and that cheered me up tremendously. We spent a day in Turku which was a nice change from being in Helsinki.

I also went to see Romeo and Juliet at the national theatre, in Finnish. I don’t speak Finnish but I do know the play by heart so it wasn’t hard to figure out what was happening. It was an amazing play and I am happy that I went! I loved the minimalistic set design and the different costumes.
