Product Review: Ben & Anna – Pink Grapefruit Deodorant

,

I like pink grapefruit and I cannot lie. I basically want to only have products that smell link pink grapefruit. So I knew I wanted to try the Ben & Anna Pink Grapefruit deodorant.

Packaging

I like that the packaging is made out of paper, it does get a bit messy but that is not my main problem with it.

The main problem I have with the packaging is that the tube is simply too tall! I always need to grab a pen to push up the product and then it sinks down again after I use it. They say to use a thumb to push up the product but I am not sure what kind of thumb they have!

Product

The deodorant smells amazing and I don’t smell when I use it. But that is different for everyone! My main problem though was that it gives me a underarm rash and makes my skin peel. Which is a huge problem. Quickly after I stop using it my skin goes back to normal. It does take a couple of days for then the rash to come back. I do wash under my arms every evening and put oil to help with everything, which helps but not to the extent that I would repurchase this deodorant again. It is simply too harsh for my skin!

Conclusion

I love how the Ben & Anna Pink Grapefruit deodorant smelled and made me not smell. I like that the packaging is recyclable paper. However, I will not be repurchasing it since it wrecks havoc on my underarm skin.

Do you have any recommendation for a natural deodorant for me to try?

  1. […] that this deodorant worked, but it did cause me to have a red spot in my armpits that did hurt. I did write a more detailed review about it here. I won’t repurchase […]
