Fall Skin Care Inventory

Hello,

This summer I started to really look at the skincare items I had and realized something, most of them were in plastic and that was something I wanted to change. So as I used up things I decided to try to find a replacement that did not have as much plastic and also that had fewer ingredients.

I liked how I set up my Summer Makeup Inventory where I separated my items by new and old. The new items are what I have bought since my last Skincare update.

New

Flow cosmetics – Organic Argan Oil

I use argan oil mainly for my hair and face. Sometimes I do use it as a body oil but since I have a specific body oil I haven’t been using it as such much. I like that the oil has a dropper which helps in not using too much of oil.

Flow Cosmetics – Hemp & Peat Shampoo Soap For Problematic Scalp

I do like shampoo bars but I am not sure if I am enjoying this one. I am not sure if it is causing my hair to shed more than usual or if that is something else. But I think when I finish this one that I will choose another type of shampoo bar.

Flow cosmetics – Organic Rosehip Skin Repair & Treatment Oil

I absolutely love this oil! It isn’t pure, it is a blend I can notice how better my skin is when I use it. Whenever I do get acne I notice that the heal faster, are not as red and swollen. I haven’t noticed my skin getting yellow from the colour of the oil which I have seen some people talk about.

Flow Cosmetics – Multipurpose Seabuckthorn Balm

I love this balm! It is amazing, I feel like it is better than the 8-hour cream that I’ve loved for years

Skin Mood – Konjac Sponge – Collagen for Mature Skin

I love these Konjac sponges! I’ve also tried the black one from them and I think I prefer that one to this white one. I also need to buy a new one soon!

Ben & Anna – Pink Grapefruit Deodorant

I am quite conflicted by this deodorant, it is natural and comes in paper packaging. But, it does cause me to sometimes get a rash under my arms and I think that the paper packaging has a plastic film. I do think it works, and it smells great

I am natural cosmetics – 2-1 Hand and Nail Cream – Calendula and Mango butter

I have been thinking about how to have a hand lotion that is not in plastic but I haven’t figure out how the best way will be. Maybe when I have finished this tube I will figure out something better.

I am natural cosmetics – Lip balm – Calendula and Shea butter

This is my bag lip balm, aka it is always on me. It is super nourishing and I really like it.

Zoé Expert – Lip balm – Shea Butter

I have only used this lip balm a handful of times since I have others that I am using.

Old

I will very likely finish all the old products before I move back to Iceland, which is great. I am thinking about not buying anything new before I leave to save some space and weight in my luggage.

Evolve Organic Beauty – Gentle Cleansing Melt

I wrote a review about this product. I think I will finish this cleansing melt soon. As I have used this product more and more I am not sure if I like it or not. I just really don’t like how much oil it still leaves on my face and I just don’t feel clean after I use it. I need another cleanser to be completely clean.

Blistex – Lip Medex

I feel like the Flow Cosmetics Seabuckthornbalm has taken over as my to go lip balm when my lips are super dry so I need to remind myself to use this one!

Desert Essence – Soap Bar – Lemongrass

I like this soap and I will probably buy it again! I have completely stopped using body washes and now only use soap bars, both in the shower and when I am washing my hands. I really like that this soap does not dry out my skin.

Naturaline eyecream body oil

Naturaline – Body Oil – Rosemary and Ginger

In my Spring Skincare inventory, I mention that I hadn’t been using the oil much. At the moment it is my only body moisturiser and I have been using it regularly. The packaging annoys me since it leaks a bit. Otherwise, I do like it.

Naturaline – Eye Cream – algae phytosqualans

I don’t know what I want my eye creams to do. But I think this one does something. I am not sure if I think eye creams are necessary for me since I can just use the oil all over my face including the eye area.

I am really happy with the amount of skin care products that I have. There are couple of items that I think I don’t need, such as the eye cream, so I think that I will have even less in the future.
