Month in Review: August

And all of a sudden the summer is gone.

August was such a busy month! Every weekend had plans.

August Review (3)

The first weekend we went to Snæfellsnes and spent the night there in a hotel. We were super lucky with weather and the entire trip was amazing.

The second one we went to Akureyri and Laugafell. Again, we were super lucky with weather and it was great spending some time up in the north.

Those are things I will write more about in September! Because I have not had the time in August.

On the 18th I went with my work and we tackled the 10km run in the Reykavík Marathon. We were collecting money for the Women’s Shelter here in Iceland. It was an amazing experience and I think I might need to do it next year too!

August Review (1)

The last weekend in August we spent at my families summer house. It was great getting away from the city and not just stay at home and watch Netflix and sulk about the fact that I was about to leave again.

And then on the 28th, I moved back to Helsinki. Moving back was equal amount amazing and sad. It is fun being back but at the same time, I am sad about not being in Iceland.
