Oh boy, I haven’t been very good at posting about how I have been doing with knitting my lopapeysa. Well, since last time I wrote about it a lot of things have happened. I finished the body of the sweater, finally! It took such a long time, which is strange because it is just row after row of knitting. But it just got so boring!

Then I started on the sleeves, and oh those just knit in a hot second! I have already finished one sleeve and knitted it onto the body and I am working on the second sleeve. I think I will finish the second sleeve this week and then start knitting the yoke. I still have so much yarn left, I think a lot of it will be gone when I finish the sweater but at the same time I am worried that I will have a lot of leftovers. I am not a huge fan of having leftover yarn that I have no plans for since I feel it blocks my knitting interest.

I think by next week I will have finished the yoke and maybe I’ll be ready to cut the sweater down the middle. Which is very nerve-racking. But I will deal with that later!
