Master’s Thesis: May

I feel like May was mainly me just stressing, and stressing over stressing. I was worried about mixture of things, such as what if I when I sent out the invitation for my interview no one would answer, and at the same time I was worried about people answering the invitation.

However, after I sent out my post about the interviews I got so many messages that I am still trying to sort them all through and answering them all. I am quite happily surprised and still quite overwhelmed.

Last month I had couple of goals. Firstly, to have 5000 words written and secondly, to do my first interview.

I did manage to do my first interview and it felt good, I felt like the questions I was asking were the right questions and that it fits with what I am trying to establish in my thesis. I was quite stressed and had to remind myself that these people contacted me and want to be interviewed. This is not a hostile situation where I am interrogating someone that does not want to talk to me.

But to the thesis itself,  I have not been focusing my energy on it. I have been searching for some more sources and doing some editing. However, this cannot be seen in the word count.

March word count: 2276

April word count:  2694 (+418)

May word count: 2694

Yes, I wrote zero words in the thesis itself. Zero. This is without a doubt something I need to focus on in June. But at the same time I also need to finish the interviews.

My goals for June are to have finished at least 10 of the 12 interviews and to have written in total 7500 words. Let’s do this!

Take care.
