Empties #2

,

I am always so surprised by how easy it is to finish your products when you don’t have too many of them that you are rotating through. It always took me so long to finish one product when I was using 3-4 at the same time. Which is why I have enjoyed minimising my skin care collection and makeup collection.

My last empties post was in the beginning of February.

Empties (1)Dr. Organic – Organic Moroccan Argan Oil Day Cream

I used this sometimes on my face but I just didn’t like it. So instead I used it as a hand and body lotion. That helped me using it up quicker. My main problem with it was how heavily scented it is. I like that it is in a glass jar and I might use the jar for something else. It is a hydrating cream and nourishes the skin, it is just too heavy and scented for my face.

UrteKram – Shampoo – Brown Sugar

I liked this shampoo so much that I bought another one from UrteKram! The brown sugar shampoo is meant for dry scalp and I did feel that it helped with my dry scalp! It is a very mild shampoo and foams well for a SLS free shampoo.

Flow Cosmetics – Body Butter – Calendula

I absolutely love this Shea body butter. It is super nourishing and smells amazing. It has a hint of citrus which I love. It is amazing and I am definitely going to repurchase this one again. It does takes a while to be absorbed into the skin since it is oil based lotion.

Lumene – Purity Dew Drops – Hydrating Eye Gel

I know that I need eye cream because it is important. But I never have found one that just blows my mind. My main under eye issue is dark circles and I haven’t found any eye creams that help with it. This one was just fine, it is hydrating. It just didn’t wow me.

Lumene – Intense Hydration 24 Hour Moisturizer

In Empties #1 I had also a moisturizer from Lumene and I did prefer that one over this one. They are very similar but the other one was more hydrating than this one. But this had the same problem as the other one, it was just too scented!

UrteKram – Soap Bar – Aloe Vera

I liked this one quite a lot. It is not too heavily scented, it isn’t drying and it foamed well in the shower! What is not to like! I will very likely buy this one again when I run out of soap. I do wish that they would package their soap in paper instead of plastic!

Flow Cosmetics – Bilberry Facial Soap – For combination & Oily Skin

This facial soap lasted forever! FOREVER! I am not even joking, I started using it in September 2016 and I finished it in February 2018. It took be about 18 months finishing this cleanser! I didn’t use it every day, but still that is a very long time! I did enjoy it and it did a good job cleansing my skin. My main problem with it was that it stings really badly when you get any of it in your eyes and it does leave your face quite dry. Flow Cosmetics does have one that is for dry and normal skin that I might try out when I finish the cleanser I am using at the moment.

Victoria Secret – Noir Tease

I bought this perfume on 31st of December 2016. A good thing about not having a lot of items is knowing when you buy them! I really like this perfume, even though it is probably meant for teenagers. I don’t think I will repurchase this, I’ve made some other fun perfume plans!

empties (5)

This was quite nice, it did not have strong scent and was very hydrating. Would definitely repurchase. I Am is a brand from the Swiss store Migros, and I have always been a big fan of their products. Luckily my step-mom and dad bring me frequently their products.

Naturaline – Hand cream – Almonds and Edelweiss

I really enjoyed this hand cream! Naturaline is another Swiss brand from the store Coop. This cream was hydrating and smelled nice. Wouldn’t mind getting that one again! I used a lot of body lotions and cream because I have dry skin and if I don’t moisturise enough I get really bad dry patches. So lotion is my best friend!

Freeman – Sweet Tea & Lemon Peel-off Clay Mask

I wrote about this in my Spring Skincare Inventory. And I stand by the claim that I am not sure if it works or not. I felt that sometimes it did work, that my skin was clearer when I used it and then other times I felt that it didn’t do anything. I am not buying it again because it wasn’t anything special, I just wanted to try it. I didn’t finish it completely but I didn’t want to take it with me to Iceland.

Oma Gertrude – Hair mask- Repair and Nourish

This one is technically not empty, I simply did not like it and did not want to take it with me to Iceland. It always left a layer on my hair that was hard to wash out and my hair was gross when I used it. I think it did probably nourish my hair but it was not worth having greasy hair! Shampooing twice was not enough to get my hair clean after using this.

That is it for today! Go and use up some of your products!
