Hello,

I am not a morning person. Let’s just get that fact out there. I have always had a hard time getting up in the morning and frequently turn off my alarm clock in my sleep! However, this year I decided to become a morning person and one of my motivational aspect of getting up in the morning is to plan things to do with friends early mornings!

One of those things is to grab breakfast with friends in the morning. There is nothing better than to eat some good food and catch up on what is happening. One of my favourite places here in Helsinki is the breakfast buffet at Fazer in Kluuvikatu 3. Their weekday breakfast is between 7:30 and 10:30 and costs €13.90 (pssst they have a student discount).

They always have such fresh and delicious food, coffee, and smoothies. They also have amazing bread, yoghurt and such a delicious chia pudding.  And to top it off they have cake. Breakfast without cake is like summer without the sun!

Speaking of sun, we finally got some here in Helsinki! It makes me so happy to see the clear blue skies and the sun just makes my day brighter! With the sun and clear sky came the frost, and most days it has been in the double digits! Something I am not used to. Whilst in Reykjavík the temperature yesterday was around +1 to +5 here in Helsinki we had around -10 to -15.
