I like looking at the products I have used up and see what my opinion on them are. It is nice also to be able to look back on them and see what I am liking, or not liking. I am not mentioning all the products that I finish, such as toothpaste and some other things but mainly the things I have an opinion on.

Physician Formula: Super CC Powder

I started using this powder August 2015 and finished it in November 2017!  I did like it and I have liked so many things from that brand.

I am not going to repurchase this powder since I don’t know where I could it from outside the US and at the same time I am not sure if I need another CC powder or a face powder in general. But, I do know which one I want to buy next if I decide to buy one again (spoiler alert, it is from Lumene).

Miscellaneous Single Eyeshadows

I decided it was time for these eyeshadows to be thrown away! They are old and I only use a couple of them (the ones that are almost finished). But it was time for all of them to go. I can’t even remember what these eyeshadows actually are! I am now looking for an eyeshadow palette that has natural colours but I am not going to buy one soon since I want to focus on finishing the eyeshadows that I still have.

Essence: Eyeliner Pen

I used this eyeliner I think twice, and then I had made my decision that I hated it. It was just horrible, the colour payoff was bad, you couldn’t go over the area again because it then would just peel off.

Flow Cosmetics: Peppermint Himalayan Salt Scrub

The reason why I bought this scrub was how amazing it smells. It is a nice scrub that has oil in it as well so it does hydrate as it scrubs. I just am not into body scrubs. I prefer dry brushing and more physical scrubbing than salt (or sugar) scrubs.

Flow has changed their packaging on the scrubs and now they are in a tube rather than the tub and that is a much better packaging.

Flow Cosmetics: Strawberry Milk Facial Mask

I did like this mud mask from Flow Cosmetics, I did help with oily skin and acne without drying my skin too much. It does not at all smell like strawberries, which was my biggest disappointment with the mask. I am not going to repurchase it because I found that I don’t like mixing together my own face mask. It was just too much hassle, I needed to have a mixing bowl and a spoon and somehow I still never managed to make the mixture just right.

Erittäin Hieno Suomalainen: Tervashampoo (Tar Shampoo)

I wanted to try this because tar shampoo is supposed to be really good for your scalp if you have scalp problems. When I first used it I actually gagged, the scent is super strong. I didn’t notice that it did much for my scalp so I won’t repurchase it soon but it is supposedly an amazing shampoo. What annoyed me and the reason why I think it didn’t make my scalp better is that this one does have SLS in it and I try to buy shampoos without it.

Lumena – Hydration Recharge Overnight Cream

I am quite torn on this product, I loved how hydrating it was and how soft it made my skin feel. I did not love how heavily scented it was and that it made me break out a bit.

Lumene – Pure Arctic Miracle 3 in 1 Micellar Cleansing Water  (50ml/1,7 Fl.Oz.)

I liked the micellar water and it did a good job taking off my makeup and did not dry out my skin. However, I don’t think I need it in my skincare routine. It is an extra step, that includes an extra plastic bottle and cotton pad that I can as well skip and then not produce that extra waste. The cleanser I own did not come in plastic, lasts forever, and I then use a towel to dry my face. So for me it was a bit of a dilemma, yes, I do like the product but I don’t need it. So I won’t repurchase it. But it is good, and if you are using micellar water anyways, try this one!

Sophie La Girafe Baby: Hair&Body Wash and Face Cream (samples)

I got these samples in one of the organic stores here and was quite excited to try them. I know, they are for babies but those are frequently more gentle and have less of chemicals than skincare meant for adults. I was heavily disappointed with these. The face cream made my face go bright red and stung badly. The hair & body wash was fine, nothing special. But I would not recommend these!
