I always find it useful to go over what makeup and skincare things you have regularly. Both to see what I have and also to see how old the things are that I have and if I am even using my products. I wanted first to have one post for both makeup and skincare but then I realized this post would be just way too long for both of them. So the skincare part will come in a couple of days.

Makeup

Benecos: Lipliner: Red!

I use this lipliner as a lipstick so I do fill in my lips with it. It is super soft and feels good on the lips. I like it quite a lot and would like to try other Benecos makeup items but I have never found anything else from them that I want to buy when I look at their stuff. Their foundations are always a bit too dark for me.

Gosh: Velvet Touch Lipstick: 015 Matt Grape

I absolutely adore this lipstick. It is beautiful, last for a long time, doesn’t dry your lips. Just amazing. I haven’t seen it in stores recently when I have been looking at what Gosh has so I am not sure if they have stopped making it or not. But it is a go-to lipstick colour for me.

Gosh: X-Ceptional Wear Foundation: 11 Porcelain

I think this is about to be finished. But I have no way of telling unless I cut open the tube. I like this foundation and it doesn’t need powder over it for it to stay all day and look good. If I am not careful when I put it on it can look a bit cakey.

Gosh: Boombastic Swirl Mascara

This is my all time favourite mascara and I keep on repurchasing it over and over again. It is just that good! The wand looks very scary but I had been looking for a mascara with a bulb at the end of the wand because those are so good to get to the corner of the eyes. I love how it does lengthen my eyelashes and does not clump or flake.

Gosh: Velvet Touch Eyeliner: Black Ink

It has taken me longer than usual to finish this eyeliner. It is super pigmented and soft so you don’t need a lot of it to get good colour. I do think I will finish this before the summer.

YSL: 5 Colour Harmony For Eyes: 4 Lilac Sky

I’ve had this eyeshadow pallet for too long. But I just love it and I am slowly finishing it, I’ve already finished one shade! I am trying to find ways to use it up with some simple eyeshadow looks that are easier to wear in daily life. I sometimes use a bit of the highlighter as a face highlighter. I want to finish these by the end of the year. Which is why I haven’t bought any new eyeshadows recently.

Nail Polish

I threw away all my old nail polish when I moved to Helsinki so these are from November/December.

Lumene: Gel Effect Nail Polish: 3 On The Beach / Rantaniitty

This is a lovely colour, I need two to three coats of it for it to be the colour I want it to be. It is 5ml which I think it quite a good size since nail polishes DO go bad! I would like to use this one up before next winter.

GuyLond Paris: Top Ten Colors

All the colours are 4ml each so it is a good size to try them all out. I have used a couple of them and you need 3 coats to get it opaque so I don’t think it will take me a long time finishing a bottle. My first idea was to focus on several colours during the winter time, and then I just skipped it and decided instead to just use whatever I wanted.

I am actually surprised how few makeup products I have at the moment! These are things that I use most days and am very happy with. Which is exactly what I want to have. I do of course have a wishlist of items that I want and I know I will buy them sooner rather than later. It is still quite nice having just the things that I need and want instead of having everything.
